ELIGIBILITY
E 1. The The Sheldon Lake Shutter Slingers Shootout (SL3S) is open to everyone except the TWPD SLSP staff, Friends of Sheldon Lake SP board of directors and officers, SL3S judges and their immediate families.E 2. Contestants register via the FOSL web site and must pay a $10 registration fee prior to entering photos.
a. The $10 registration fee is nonrefundable.
b. Current FOSL members and Greenhorns pay no registration fee.

CONTEST TIMING
T 1. SL3S contest year starts July 1, 2009 and ends June 30, 2010.T 2. Quarterly deadlines as follows: 11:59 PM September 30; 11:59 PM December 31; 11:59 PM March 31; 11:59 PM June 30.
T 3. Quarterly winners are announced on or about the 15th of the month after the end of the quarter.
T 4. Best Shots of the Shoot-out and prize winners will be announced on or about July 15, 2010.
DIVISIONS
Contestants register in one of two divisions:D 1. Greenhorns are younger than 18-years-old at time of registration.
D 2. Bounty Hunters are 18-years and older at time of registration.
PHOTO CRITERIA, SUBMISSION & CATEGORIES
CC 1. Photo entries must be taken within the boundaries of Sheldon Lake SP during the contest year.CC 2. Photo entries must be the original work of the registered contestant submitting them.
CC 3. Contestants must submit JPEG’s sized NO LARGER THAN 640x480 pixels.
CC 4. Photo entries must be taken in situ and may not contain added elements.
CC 5. Quarterly entries:
a. Bounty Hunters may submit up to FOUR photos per quarter.
d. Greenhorns may submit photos in the Bounty Hunter division in any quarter but must follow the submission rules for that division and cannot submit to the Greenhorn division in the same quarter.
CC 6. Entries in the Bounty Hunter categories are determined by the contestant.i. Additional entries are welcome but require a fee of $2/photo entry due at time of submission.
b. Current FOSL members competing in the Bounty Hunter division may submit up to SIX photos per quarter.i. Additional entries require a fee of $1/photo entry fee due at time of submission.
c. Greenhorns may submit up to four photos per quarter.d. Greenhorns may submit photos in the Bounty Hunter division in any quarter but must follow the submission rules for that division and cannot submit to the Greenhorn division in the same quarter.
a. PEOPLE – People at the park (e.g. folks fishing, volunteers at work).
b. FAUNA – Fauna (i.e. insects, animals).
c. FLORA – Flora (e.g. coreopsis, mulberry tree).
d. SCENIC – Catch-all category open to any photo that may or may not meet the above subject criteria (e.g. sunset over lake, flock of geese rising).
e. No photo can be entered in more than one category.
f. Photo entries determined by the Photo Wrangler or judges to not meet the criteria of the category will be refused.
CC 7. A refused entry may be resubmitted.b. FAUNA – Fauna (i.e. insects, animals).

CC 8. Once a photo is entered and accepted it may not be reentered in the contest.
CC 9. Violations of the SL3S rules may result in the disqualification of a photo entry and/or the contestant.
CC 10. Disqualified contestants forfeit all winning photo entries must return all prizes awarded during the contest.
PRIZE AWARDS
PA 1. One prize per contestant per Quarterly Round-up.PA 2. One prize per contestant in the Bounty Round.
CONTEST MANAGEMENT
CM 1. FOSL's Board & Officers reserve the right to change any element or the rules, judging and operation of the SL3S as necessary for the integrity of the contest.CM 2. FOSL's Board & Officers reserve the right to disqualify any contestant for the integrity of the contest.
CM 3. Photo entries remain the property of the photographer however, by submitting photos contestants grant FOSL the use of contestant's photo entries for our web site, displays at the park, promotional material and fund raising.
CM 4. Decisions of the judges are final and shall not be contested.
a. A contestant will be disqualified if a judge is contacted about the contestant's photo entries.

5. Only Official SL3S Photo Wranglers can answer, address or make
determinations about contestant questions, complaints or requests for
